Baptism of Roman Lebermann:
This Sunday (May 18) our service will begin with the
Ministration of Holy Baptism of Roman Lebermann. After the service in lieu of our normal coffee hour and weather permitting a reception will be hosted by the Lebermanns at Charlestown Township Park.
The park address is: 100 Academic Way, Phoenixville, PA.(just 1.5 miles from the church)
The reception will be in Pavilion 5 and 6 (see the left side of the map below).
A prayer from the baptism rite said by the priest and people:
Almighty and everlasting God, heavenly Father, We give thee humble thanks, That thou hast vouchsafed to call us To the knowledge of thy grace, and faith in thee: Increase this knowledge, And confirm this faith in us evermore. Give thy Holy Spirit to this Child, That he may be born again, and be made an heir of everlasting salvation; Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Who liveth and reigneth with thee and the same Holy Spirit, Now and for ever. Amen. (BCP, 276)

Announcements
Our weekly study has resumed. We are studying St. Paul's letter to the Colossians each Monday at 7:00 PM. Please join us as you are able.
Feast of the Ascension
Thursday, May 29 is the Feast of the Ascension. A service of Holy Communion with hymns for this great feast will be offered at 7:00 PM on the Thursday, May 29. We will be joined by members of our sister parish: St. Patrick's in Ardmore for the service. A pot-luck festal reception will immediately follow the service. Please bring a dish to share if you are able.
Save the Date: Feast of the Transfiguration - August 10
We will celebrate our parish feast of title on Sunday, August 10 with mass and a parish reception immediately following the service at the rectory. Please mark your calendars for this wonderful day of parish fellowship.
Looking Ahead: Diocesan Synod
Our diocesan synod will be held the week of October 13 in Charleston, SC. This week will include both our Diocesan Synod and the Jurisdictional Synod for the entire ACC. Official voting delegates were elected at our annual parish meeting earlier this year, but both synods are open to all who would like to register and attend as observers. If you would like information about registration as it becomes available please contact Fr. Ben.
